PRIMA 2008 COLLECTION

American National Bank ShowDown Town
The Town of Eagle presents this down-home family night out, complete with fantastic free music, kids activities, picnics and more. The series runs Thursday evenings throughout the summer at the Eagle Town Park in downtown Eagle.



The 2007 series proved to be a hit among locals and visitors alike, as the park came alive each Thursday evening with great music, a sea of picnic blankets and all sorts of activities for the kids. Performance highlights included the Motown sound of Fredi & the Soulshakers, the country stylings of the Walker Williams Band and the infectious disco beat of Boogie Machine.



With a brand new stage, updated playground and new restroom facilities, the Eagle Town Park is the perfect location for this series. Plan ahead for 2008 and make sure you take advantage of the best picnicking opportunity of the summer: Thursdays at ShowDown Town.

Beaver Creek Events
Beaver Creek is the perfect setting for summertime events. This year's featured summertime events include: The Beaver Creek Arts Festival, June Jam, Culinary Demonstration Series and the Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival.

Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival

21st Season — June 25 – August 2, 2008

As the festival embarks on its 21st year, it looks forward to bringing the most ambitious season yet. The Festival is unparalleled in musicianship and the highest quality programming. The 2008 season will feature four world-class orchestras--Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic, along with chamber music, jazz, and pops.

Bud Light Hot Summer Nights Concert Series
This annual free summer concert series is hosted at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater Tuesday evenings throughout the summer months. With shows ranging from rock to country to bluegrass to funk and beyond, the Bud Light Hot Summer Nights has become synonymous with summer for locals and visitors alike. Throngs of music lovers gather at the Amphitheater each week to enjoy sunshine, picnics, friends and incredible free music.

Vail International Dance Festival
July 27 - August 10
This summer we present a fantastic array of dance: from Paul Taylor Dance Company to Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, from Pacific Northwest Ballet to Noche Flamenca, from Keigwin + Company to Buckets and Tap Shoes, and from the brilliant stars of the International Evenings to the thrilling champions of Ballroom’s Best. Presented by the Vail Valley Foundation.

Vail Jazz Festival
August 31 - September 3
This event features the world's greatest jazz musicians in over twenty-four hours of music over Labor Day Weekend. Hosted at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa, the Labor Day Weekend Party brings together the best jazz musicians in an intimate, cabaret-style setting for a blend of jazz music not found anywhere else!
